We are currently accepting patients for both in-person and phone consultations. Some restrictions to this apply regarding certain medical conditions. Please call reception to book.
•Prescription renewals:
If you need a prescription renewal, please ask your pharmacist to extend your current prescription. If this is not possible, ask them to send our office a request by fax.
•Sick notes:
Note that the government has introduced legislation that means employers cannot ask for a doctor’s note if you have missed work because of the coronavirus (this is backdated to January 25, 2020).
Regarding virtual care
Our doctors may continue to offer virtual care to make sure that they can continue to care for our patients safely and effectively. This means in some cases, we may use video and audio technologies for patient visits rather than asking patients to come into our office.
Patients who need to be seen in person must contact the clinic before entering.
IF YOU THINK YOU MAY HAVE COVID-19
If you think you may have COVID-19, please use the Ministry of Health’s self-assessment tool available here: https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/#q0 and follow the instructions based on your answers to the questions.
Please note that our clinic is not equipped to test for COVID-19.
IF YOU HAVE SEVERE SYMPTOMS
If this is a medical emergency, please call 9-1-1 immediately. Otherwise, go to the hospital emergency department and pay attention to special signage.
Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times.
